This is map of Ontario showing the density of medium and large dams by tertiary watershed. Dam density is highest in the watersheds of southern Ontario where manyw atershed shave more than one medium and large dam per 100 square kilometres of watershed area. Most watersheds in the Hudson bay Lowlands Ecozone and several in the orthern part of the Ontario Shield Ecozone have no medium and large dams.
